Tolmen Centre Constantine

Located in the charming Cornish village of Constantine, the Tolmen Centre serves as both a visitor attraction and a regular haunt for discerning locals.

Offering a large theatre with a spacious eight metre by five metre performance area, this charming local theatre boasts a state-of-the-art lighting rig, sound system and projection equipment. As such, it’s attracted regular performances from locally and nationally celebrated theatre companies including Miracle, Cube, Cscape and Pipeline, as well as screening blockbuster hits for those seeking a different cinematic experience.

The Tolmen Centre has also played host to a clutch of celebrated musical artists including award-winning Celtic band The Changing Room and prog folk favourites The Moulettes. Also inviting talks from authors, reporters, historians and storytellers, the programme of events at the centre offers up something for everyone.

This not-for-profit organisation is run entirely by volunteers, creating a unique environment and a tangible feeling of community spirit. The on-site cafe has built up a strong reputation for offering a warm welcome and great food within a chilled-out atmosphere. The cafe is extremely popular, especially just before evening performances and film screenings, so booking in advance is always advised.
