About this event
The first commercially produced Christmas card is said to have been designed in 1843. Sending cards is still a popular tradition but Victorian cards often featured humanised animals in everyday scenarios. Although initially intended for children they became popular with adults too. Create your own creepy cards to send this Christmas and make a peg doll Christmas Angel to adorn your Christmas tree.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 8 – 14.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Parents and guardians may accompany their children but are also welcome to drop them off at the workshop if they prefer. Our Discovery Club Team Leaders are fully DBS checked and First Aid trained.
We have a range of workshops taking place as part of Discovery Club this Autumn, and you’re welcome to book your child onto as many as you wish.
