A humorous and heartfelt play following a dysfunctional group of hikers.

One Path. Two coasts. Six Walkers. Thirteen Days.

Nick is doing it for a bet; his girlfriend Tiffany would rather be shopping. Batchelor Malcolm is on a pilgrimage for his late mother; Neville to get away from the wife. Observing them all is Kelly, a travel journalist from New York, and her mother Barbara.

Will they reach the end? Who is being sought by the police? Which one of them has a dark secret and what is wrong with Malcolm’s muesli?

Peter Gordon’s touching play follows this dysfunctional group of hikers through comic highs and tragic lows as they attempt the Coast To Coast walk from Cumbria to Yorkshire with the challenge of their lives.

The Camp Theatre Company is a not for profit community theatre company that celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2024. The company has built up a loyal following and has been touring the South West regularly since 2011. It has raised more than £75,000 for a wide range of international, national and local charities.

We strive to offer a comfortable and accessible experience for all visiting Sterts. If you have a specific access requirement you would like to talk to us about in advance of your visit please email [email protected] or call 01579 362382. All our seating is unreserved. If you need to reserve a seat due to an accessibility requirement, e.g. you need to sit near the front to lip read, please contact us directly after booking your ticket and we will make the necessary arrangements. We do not currently have an ear loop installed. This is a provision we are committed to and hope to provide in the near future. If you require a free carer ticket, please contact our Box Office on 0333 666 3366. For any other access requirements please flag this when you book. We have two accessible toilets and a changing place facility on site. The changing place provides a larger accessible space with equipment including a changing bench and a hoist to support disabled people who need assistance.
