We are pleased to welcome Katrina Naomi, award-winning poet and performer, to lead this poetry workshop. Her fourth and much acclaimed poetry collection, Battery Rocks, was published in 2024 and her highly anticipated new work, Dance As If, will be published in September 2025. But don’t let her national and international reputation put you off: if you’ve always found the idea of writing poetry daunting – or even terrifying – then this is for you. ‘Ways into Poetry’ will offer exercises for people who are new to poetry and everyone is welcome – aged 16 and over.
