About this event

Join Cornwall Wildlife Trust for a welly walk and try your hand at crafts using natural materials.

Why not celebrate the autumnal equinox (start of autumn) as a family and take some time to slow down and appreciate the nature and spaces around us.

We will be meeting at Gunwen Chapel before taking a short walk through Breney Common – one of our nature reserves. On our walk we will appreciate nature, collect resources and return to the chapel to take part in some arts and crafts.

This session is suitable for children 4 and over, accompained by a responsible adult.

We invite you to take a morning to connect with each other and nature.

Please bring:
– Reusable drinks bottle
– Reusable mug/cup
– Snacks that you or your children may require
– Layers; this is an outdoor session which will go ahead unless the weather is really poor.
– Wellies or other closed toe shoes suitable for getting wet and muddy.

Hot and cold drinks will be provided at the session.

Please note that the terrain is rugged and uneven and so appropriate footwear is required such as wellies, you should also be prepared for the weather so we ask that you bring waterproofs with you.
