About this event

A unique chance to see an eclectic showcase of objects and paintings from Wheal Martyn’s collections which are not usually included in our permanent displays.

As a museum, Wheal Martyn is responsible for over 10,000 objects, ranging from photographs and archival materials to clothing, tools, engineering patterns and mining company memorabilia. With far too much to have on public display all the time, this exhibition provides an opportunity to take a glimpse at a varied selection of what we hold and care for, ranging from the inspiring to the unusual!

Additionally, this exhibition will provide insights into the museum’s collection policy and explain how items are integrated into a permanent museum collection.
