About this event
Will Keating is widely known and acclaimed for his solo performances, as well as for singing with a Falmouth based, male vocal group known as The Oggymen.
Performing with just his acoustic guitar, stomp box and wonderful voice, Will is inspired by Cornwall’s rich history and heritage, and his live shows are filled with traditional Cornish and Celtic folk songs.
Will’s good friend Harry Glasson will be joining him. He doesn’t need an introduction but just in case you don’t know, he wrote “Cornwall my Home” along with many other wonderful pieces that are sung by Cornish choirs, Shanty Singers and other artists worldwide.
Will & Harry are performing to support YMCA Cornwall’s fundraiser which has a £100,000 target to replace the roof on Morris House. Morris House is home to 20 vulnerable young people who have been homeless, sofa-surfing, rough sleeping or at risk. Many have fled an abusive situation and arrive with few or no belongings.
