Will Varley live at The Cornish Bank

Will Varley returns to the stage with his new band The Southern Rust, fresh from supporting The Libertines and selling out three autumn shows. This acclaimed singer-songwriter brings together a collective of Kentish musicians who share deep roots in his musical journey through his Smugglers record label.

His upcoming seventh album, releasing via MNRK Music Group (The Lumineers, Mt. Joy), explores themes of apocalypse and hope, drawing inspiration from America’s Midwest and East Kent’s coastal plains. The record features special guest appearances and continues Varley’s thoughtful examination of the human condition.

Expect an evening of rich storytelling and communal energy as Varley and his formidable band showcase new material alongside beloved classics. From his humble beginnings walking the south coast with a guitar to selling out shows across North America and Europe, this promises to be an intimate celebration of live music’s enduring power.
