About this event
As part of our BioBlitz Community Day we will be joined by Jasmine Fassenfelt Willow to help us create some beautiful willow crafts!
Suitable for complete beginners as well as those who want to practice their weaving technique or just enjoy being creative!
There are three different workshops to choose from:
10am – 10.30: Willow Fish on a rod (children under 12 need an adult helper)
10.45 – 11.30: Spiral Bird Feeder (children under 12 need an adult helper)
11.45 – 12.45: Willow Dragonflies (12+ or suitable for children with an adult helper)
All materials and equipment provided you just need to bring yourself
Please note weaving requires a good amount of dexterity and so is not suitable for children under 14 and can be challenging for those suffering with joint pain.
