On Thursday 17th December, The Alverton are hosting their very first cheese and wine night in The Great Hall, where the team will be taking your tastebuds on a trip to Italy for fine wines and tempting cheeses that you’ve just gouda try!
What to expect
Join The Alverton from 6pm-8pm, when Alverton wine supplier and expert Carl Burdett will be pouring six glasses of wine for you to sample throughout the evening. Slurp on red, white, rosé and sweet Italian tipples from Sicily and Sardinia, whilst listening to Carl discuss the different characteristics of each wine.
If a six-course wine flight isn’t appealing enough, you’ll also be joined by James Greet from The Greet Cheese, who will be making some delicious cheese choices and selecting six options to compliment the wine.
Tickets cost £20 + booking fee. To avoid disappointment, you’d feta get booking!
Please note: we can only accept bookings up to 6 people maximum due to COVID-19 restrictions and new government laws. All tables will be socially-distanced.
