About this event

"I arrived a stranger, a stranger I depart". This is the famous first line of Franz Schubert's song cycle "Winter Journey" (or "Winterreise").

Duo Lamorniana are putting on a “Winter Journey” concert as part of the “Lamorniana Proms” series they have created.

The programme contains works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Johann Sebastian Bach, Hindemith’s fantastic, almost impressionistic-sounding sonata for viola and piano, op.11 no. 4 and, of course, Franz Schubert.
