Penzance Litfest presents a writing workshop with Mary J Oliver.

With a background originally in the visual arts. Mary J. Oliver published her debut novel Jim Neat in 2019. Her workshop will stimulate the senses and add colour and authenticity to your writing. You will be provided with visual prompts, unusual materials and surfaces to trigger written responses. You’ll then be encouraged to identify, distil and collate the surprisingly potent words and phrases they’ve produced, which will help you make a start on a significant, new piece of writing.
