Celebrating the Cornish written word before 1550

Join Professor Michelle Brown for this talk celebrating the landmarks of the written word that survive from Cornwall before the upheavals of the Tudor age, and examines the issues they raise for Cornwall and our global cultural identity. The talk features material from Michelle’s new book “The Word and the Shaping of Cornwall Before the Reformation: Stone, Scripture and Playscripts’ (Francis Boutle, 2021).
