Start your day with some movement in the museum. This 6 week beginners course in yoga and somatics will encourage you to improve your overall internal and external bodily awareness and to feel more steady on your feet and more grounded in your body. This 6 week course is part of the Spirit of Cornwall programme at Royal Cornwall Museum.
Each class will have a different area that students will be encouraged to notice:
Week 1 (17th October): Feet and footwork
Week 2 (24th October): Lower limbs
Week 3 (31st October): Torso, working from centre
Week 4 (7th November): Arms, shoulders, neck
Week 5 (14th November): Proprioception, global movements
Week 6 (21st November): Bringing it all together. Slow movements with full inner and outer awareness
