About this event

An online monthly session for young people who are brimming with ideas and stories and want to share them with like-minded young writers. From The Writers' Block.

What is it?
An ONLINE monthly session for young people who are brimming with ideas and stories and want to share them with like-minded, friendly young writers and readers.

Where is it?
Online. These workshops will be run through Zoom, an easy to access online meeting program available on computers and phones. Those who sign up will receive an email with a link to click when the session is booked to begin. It will be beneficial to download Zoom before the event though you can take part directly through the web interface https://zoom.us/

What happens?
Each session is full of discussion, short, fun exercises to get the creativity flowing and longer time to really get into your story. Sessions are led by Cornish writers Olivia Lowry and Casey Bottono.

Who’s it for?
Any young writer aged between twelve and sixteen. All you need is curiosity, a willingness to have a go and a notebook and pen. Then who knows what we’ll produce…
