In this hands-on workshop, artist Karen Howse will show you how to create a zine — a DIY publication you design yourself, from scratch, in an afternoon.
Cut, stick, stamp, draw, collage, and even type on a real typewriter. No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to make a mess.
As part of What(areyour)3Words, you’ll also explore the art of erasure poetry — hunting through existing text to find hidden words and stories. What three words will you uncover today?

What(areyour)3Words is a Trevow Helston & Writers’ Block community project taking place across Helston in May half term. Utilising the concept of What3Words as a unique location device and turning it into a method of story generation and collection.
