Devoran Village Hall

Originally constructed by the Redruth and Chasewater Railway Company as a workshop to support their new steam railway, Devoran Village Hall is a key part of the village’s history.

Located at the southern edge of the centre of Devoran, the hall is firmly at the heart of the community and provides much-needed space for music performances, arts and crafts markets, workshops and community events.

Each month sees a packed programme of cultural, engaging events and workshops, such as children’s art classes, gardening club events, flower shows and village markets, which include stalls from some of Cornwall’s most trusted bread, dairy and vegetable suppliers.

Folk fans should also keep a keen eye on Devoran Village Hall’s listings: up-and-coming artists from the inter-celtic folk scene have been known to perform at this popular venue, as well as more established acts such as Phil Beer, Benji Kirkpatrick and Faustus.

With toilet facilities, a small visitor car park and a large, bright main hall with seating for 110 and the perfect acoustics for atmospheric musical performances, a trip to Devoran Village Hall is definitely worth adding to your list.
