1. Medieval Menagerie

Join cartoonist Keith Sparrow for a fun manga drawing workshop. Create a creature for our medieval menagerie which is inspired by the medieval documents on display in their Medieval Treasures exhibition this autumn.

2. Digital Trebah Trail

Trebah Garden, Falmouth

Come and take part in Trebah’s fully digital children’s trail and find out about their Jurassic plants, Cornish mud, creepy crawlies and rollercoaster buzzards!

The whole family can discover numerous fun facts by scanning the QR codes hidden in the garden and navigating from post to post collecting letters as you go and solving Teresa’s fun word challenge.

3. Piskie Making Workshops

5. Pop Up PK Porthcurno

PK Porthcurno, Porthcurno

Discover and print the untold stories of the slimy sea creatures of Porthcurno. You can choose your favourite colour and print a Halloweeny mythical sea horse, a scary worm or a patrol of fish deep under the sea.

You and the family can learn more about PK’s environmental initiative Planet PK while reusing their brightly coloured paper and making environmentally friendly slime.

6. Autumn Rockpool Ramble

Hannafore Beach, Looe

Fancy finding some cool crabs & stunning starfish? Why not join local experts as they explore the rocky shore!

Come along to Hannafore beach, which is slick with seaweeds among which fish, crabs, anemones and starfish, for a fun day out for all of the family. Make sure you come along with suitable footwear (no flip flops) and leave your nets at home as they can harm delicate rock pool creatures.

7. Bodmin Keep October Half Term Activities

Explore the Second World War with wartime games, weaponry talks, Make do and Mend and Living History!

This half-term, you and your family can learn all about how those on the Home Front did Make Do and Mend, how to make a lavender bag from fabric scraps and take away materials to make your own bag at home!

There’s will also be a chance to find out about some wartime children’s games and pastimes as well as some of the weapons used by the British Army and the Home Guard in the Second World War.

8. Via Ferrata - Epic High Wire Adventure

9. Autumn Half Term Craft Fair

Bring the whole family to browse at the wonderful selection of unique Cornish made crafts. Whilst you are going from stall to stall, the children can have their own seat at a special table where for only £2 each, they will be given a Halloween themed gift bag.

Each gift bag will come with two Halloween pictures for them to colour in, a pack of colouring pencils and a bag of spooky sweeties.

10. Halloween at the Museum

This half-term, head to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, to get into the Halloween spirit.

You and the family can dress as ghosts and ghouls and head out on the torch-lit trail to find the spooky sea spirits hidden in the Museum’s deepest darkest corners.
