Vood For All!

The exciting vegan venture looks to provide food for people in need - and with your help they can raise £10,000 to make it happen!

Vood’s vegan street food has been a hit at festivals and events across Cornwall serving up cruelty-free and totally delicious dishes. Ethical and environmentally friendly, they donate leftover foods to shelters and refugees and give food to people when the opportunities arise, but now they want to do more.

With a Crowdfunder campaign target of £10,000, they now plan to create Vood Box, a permanently placed catering trailer that will provide at least 3500 meals to people who receive food bank vouchers. They also plan to run four charity events a year where the proceeds will go to local animal charities, helping to feed animals, pay for medical care and help towards training pets to prepare them for adoption.

Vood Box will also be supporting people in poverty looking for work to learn about customer service, basic cookery skills, kitchen safety and how to eat healthily on a budget – and they will be creating two exciting new job opportunities too! On their Crowdfunder page, founder Danielle Clancy says: “Through our programme, we aim to change the lives of people living in poverty. We will be reducing hunger in Cornwall, offering children healthy meals and we will be giving families a sense of hope!”

To make it happen, they need your help – and are offering some cracking rewards in return for your support, from cake baking masterclasses to Indian feast nights and wedding catering packages.
