About this event
Writing workshop led by Petrus Ursem
This zoom-workshop will help you paint a picture in words. Can you bring a magical creature to life? Or make a dull day seem extraordinary? Writer, Petrus Ursem, will help you explore the best way to make readers believe that what you write is true, whether it really is or you have simply made it up.
Petrus has published two books for young adults, in which Steven Honest has to find out whether messages left to him more than a century ago are true and will lead him to a mysterious fortune. ‘The Fortune of the Seventh Stone’ and ‘The Truth Teller’ are both set in the Tamar Valley.
The third book in this series will be published in the autumn. Petrus is also an artist and deeply interested in the places where words and images meet. You can order Petrus Ursem’s books on his website
Recommended for Children aged 10-12 years (must be accompanied on ZoomWorkshop by an adult)
