About this event
The trees of the Forest of Moresk still pocket the hills where the famous tale of Tristan and Isolde was born. Here is the Church of St Clement , built by the side of the Tresillian River that flows to the Fal Estuary and out to the open sea.
The C13 church stands on a mound, probably part of a chain of fortified enclosures, more than 2000 years old, stretching up the Fal and Tresillian valleys, connecting the routes inland to the mines of Cornwall.
It is a peaceful and uplifting pleasure to visit the quiet and evocative haven of St Clement.
