About this event
With contributions from Patrick Gale, Tom Cox, Catrina Davies, Wyl Menmuir and Natasha Carthew, plus other yet-to-be-confirmed speakers. It is set to be a wonderful weekend; the Saturday culminating in a fabulous feast in the company of after-dinner speaker Terry Waite CBE, followed by Q&A and book signing.
This is the first time a book festival has come to the town, and it is hoped this will become an annual event.
We are taking Terry Waite’s (president of Emmaus UK homeless charity) presence as the starting point for our theme of ‘What does home mean to us?’ What home means, the impact of second homeowners, and what homelessness means; From our safe spaces, our front doors to our communities and the wider world.
