About this event
Sarah produces work derived from her interest in life and death cycles, the seasons and natural plant and animal forms. The beautiful environments of the Lizard and Helford River also inspire her work, which is evident in what she produces. She paints in acrylic Inks with their fluidity and vibrant colours taking on a movement of their own accord, which leads into something else – unexpected. There will be a selection of framed and unframed original paintings and greeting cards available at the studio.
Sarah also works in glass and mixed media using the techniques of Patte de Verre, fusing, casting and fine metalwork, incorporating recycled materials where possible.
There will be a variety of Sarah’s paintings and glass to see at the studio alongside paintings, textiles and ceramics by Sally Ould and Clare Athene James, fellow Falmouth Graduates.
Mudgeon Vean Studio is situated on an 18C farm in the heart of the country, near the beautiful Helford River and National Trust walk to Tremayne Quay – a stones throw from Gear Farm Pasty Shop.
