Offering a selection of eclectic entertainment all year round, St Ives Guildhall is conveniently located in the town centre, near to public car parks and all public transport links.
With capacity to seat 500, this multi-purpose venue has featured some well-known, established musicians on its stage, including folk legends Show of Hands, Seth Lakeman and Kate Rusby. Previous X Factor finalists G4, known for their fusion of pop and opera as well as their exquisite harmonies, have also performed on this stage, as well as ‘The Bohemians’, a popular Queen tribute band renowned for their high-energy performances of some of the band’s most famous hits.
St Ives Guildhall is also a popular venue for the local community. The space is used for a number of local events, such as arts and craft fairs, collectables markets and farmers’ markets, as well as being an official venue for the annual St Ives September Festival, a two-week celebration of music and the arts.
The stage is also home to much-loved theatre productions and comedians, including gig-circuit-favourite Jethro, one of Cornwall’s top comedians and storytellers who recently performed his one-man show ‘The Bull and Bonkers Tour’ at this very venue.
