The Watering Hole

Located on Perranporth’s three-mile beach, The Watering Hole has earned itself a reputation for attracting some of the most famous performers from around the globe. Whether you’re into pop, rock, folk, jazz or country, many well-known artists have graced the stage, performing to energetic crowds of locals and visitors.

In addition to running a packed programme of gigs all year round, The Watering Hole also hosts a number of seasonal festivals and events which feature some of the most high-profile and award-winning performers that the music scene has to offer. The annual summer festival ‘Tunes in the Dunes’ has seen epic performances from chart-topping acts such as Dizzee Rascal, Ella Eyre and Tom Odell, as well as James Morrison, a Cornish-bred artist with international fame, success and recognition. Music legends such as Status Quo, The Waterboys and The Stranglers have also appeared at this festival which is staged on the beach next to the pub.

This lively venue also runs a ‘Bands in the Sands’ programme which has featured music legends from across the globe, such as Seal, Billy Ocean and rock royalty favourites, The Darkness.

The venue itself features a large bar, multiple plasma screens, a carvery area and seating throughout. Visitors can also enjoy sitting outside in warmer weather, watching the waves as they tumble onto the golden sand and supping a glass of locally sourced ale, all from one of the most spectacular sunset-spotting vantage points around.
