Join best-selling author, Sally Crabtree for a Magic Train Ride of songs, poems and stories. Sally was once a world class gymnast, winning a scholarship to train in Russia at the age of 14 , going on to become the youngest ever member of the GB Women’s gymnastics team. Since then she has been turning the poetry world upside down with her cartwheeling poems and colourful, quirky performances.

She is an official ambassador for National Poetry Day and as the Poetry Postie she has delivered poetic inspiration to the world. Her latest Poetry Postie – Communities Communicating scheme connected communities in Cornwall with those in Cuba and her on-going CreativiTEA Carriage initiative with GWR/ Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership recently won a National ACoRP award.

Sally believes like Einstein that “Creativity is intelligence having fun” and is inspired by the Greek definition of a poet as being “one who creates“. Her sessions are thus sprinkled with poetic creativity that have delighted audiences worldwide.
