Foxes Fair at 2021 St Ives September Festival

Foxes Fair will sing their twisted tales of love, murder and sea-faring treachery at the 2021 St Ives September Festival.

The trio of Tamsyn Dale, Grace Dulcimer and Johanna Hillebrand will perform at St Ia Church on Thursday September 16.

They play a range of string arrangements, using the classic old-time styles of 5-string banjo, Appalachian dulcimer and finger-picked guitar to provide a delightful backdrop to their natural and effortless harmonies.

Their sound is as timeless as their topics as they tell stories of nature, love, death and the joys of drinking permeated by a warmth and comradery rarely seen to this extent in musical groups with friendship clearly binding these ladies as much as the love for the music they make.
