About this event
I was an art student doing craft design at Hereford. I specialised in painting country lanes on silk and then machine embroidering onto them. On returning home from college I started my family and decided to try something new. I have been making stained glass for 9 years and teaching workshops for 6.
I love the buzz when creative people get together and make their first piece of glass. I visit a disabled lady in her own home each week and although she has been unwell she really loves our projects together. Making stained glass is soo good for everyone’s mental health. It’s a great form of escapism for a few hours.
