About this event
Located in the Cornish landscape that gives me huge inspiration, Reawla Ceramics Studio is where I live and make my work. Our on site gallery area has an ever changing display of finished ceramics and paintings while a visit to the studio in the garden helps to give a deeper understanding about how I make my work and what inspires me.
My ceramics are slab build with painterly surfaces that evoke a feeling of place, landscape or changing seasons. Although they are predominantly vessel forms they are more akin to 3-dimensial paintings than functional pots. I also produce paintings that are made in response to my walks and explorations in the varied and historical landscape around me.
