About this event
St Austell LIVE – Where Community & Music Meet.
Restormel Arts (a professional arts charity) is part of a collective of community organisations aiming to work together to help bring people into St Austell town centre, promote cultural events and build a night-time economy. Restormel Arts has developed a partnership with Smorgers Bistro in Fore Street to present a FREE afternoon and evening of singer-songwriters on Saturday 18th June as part of town-wide community events and activities on that day.
This event will give professional and amateur musicians a platform to showcase their work to a new multi-generational audience. There will be also be open mic spots for emerging artists to perform and Restormel Arts has developed a partnership with Sprout Spoken to add spoken word artists to the line-up. A time-table of artists performances will be available nearer the time.
This event is part of the Tresorys Kernow programme.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund in Cornwall.
