About this event
The Cornish poet Charles Causley was both a public figure and an intensely private man. Patrick Gale spent many months steeped in Causley’s life and times for his latest novel, Mother’s Boy, while travel writer Tim Hannigan found himself looking afresh at the poet when researching his forthcoming book about Cornwall. Patrick and Tim discuss what it’s like to delve into the life of someone so well-known, how they went about it and what they discovered along the way.
