About this event
Overview: Dreamt up by the creative minds at Quick Panda Productions, The Great Estate continues to push the boundaries of the traditional festival experience by curating a programme that goes beyond music to produce an immersive environment where around every corner something weird and wonderful is happening. For three days, the manicured lawns, enchanting gardens and ancient woodlands of the Scorrier Estate are transformed into a magical wonderland where human flamingos roam wild, Vikings battle, lanterns light up the sky and grounds, and drag queens take centre stage.
What’s new this year: Festival goers can take part in the Great Lantern Parade, meet the queens, and prepare to be dazzled at Madame Wong’s Drag Race, or sit back and relax at the immersive cinema.
2024 music line-up: The Darkness, The Stranglers, and Soul II Soul, plus Hip Hop Karaoke, Pulp Friction Show, and Vibe Roulette.
Not to be missed: Vikings at battle, the new supersized silent disco in the woodland, and a whimsical Victorian-inspired sports day event
For families: The Great Estate is bursting at the seams with activities and entertainment to keep all ages happy. Little ones can enjoy The Playground, which is home to fairground rides, bouncy castles, face painting, and hula hooping in addition to the participatory workshops including circus skills, bushcraft, and DJing or channel their inner Tony Hawk on the skate ramp.
Look out for: The abundance of weird and wonderful happenings.
Where to stay: Bell tents for added luxury or the Scavenger Bus.
Tickets: Early Bird Weekend Camping Tickets are available to purchase at www.greatestatefestival.co.uk for £95.00 (plus £4.50 booking fee).
