About this event
This Easter holidays NMMC are taking care of our natural world. Meet Detritus of the Deep and the Washed-up Mermaid, create recycled masks in Make & Take and follow the Museum Trail where you can learn about what you can do for nature.
Detritus of the Deep and the Washed-Up Mermaid
Monday – Friday, 11am, 1pm & 3pm.
Detritus of the Deep is a larger-than-life showman, king and master of the sea. Hear this gentle giant’s story of coastal adventures and watch as he magically conjures up wonders from Cornwall’s waters. His friend, the Washed-up Mermaid, sings of our seas and asks us a very important question – can we help them save our oceans?
Flotsam Mermaid
Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 April
The verdigris mermaid has washed ashore! Is she a simple statue or something more? Come and find Flotsam in the Museum to catch some bubble blowing, tail flipping fun!
