About this event
Art Club St Ives had its first session on Saturday 11th February 2023 and has had a fantastic first year. This free exhibition is for the young artists who come along every week to showcase their work.
The aim of art club was to allow children to come, find out about an artist and then have a go at using different materials and techniques.
It has been a great success and has many young artists that turn up each week to try their hands at something new and they always shine in their approach to the materials and the task at hand.
Living in a town surrounded by art it is usually the adults whose art is hung in the galleries and exhibition spaces. This exhibition is for the young artists to show case their work. For them to have a moment to bring friends and family to feel proud of what they achieved and have their moment in the artist spotlight.
A final note to say thank you to the adults who bring these young artists weekly to art club, it is a pleasure to teach them and see their marvellous ideas and creations come to life.
