About this event
Sacha para-motored over arctic tundra from Russia to the UK, following the Bewick swans along their migrational flight path, crossing 11 countries to discover why their numbers were in decline and having remarkable encounters with people along the way.
This story is one of astonishing bravery and marvelous adventure. It is a story of hope for our planet that will touch even hardened hearts.
Sacha is a conservationist, biologist, environmental artist, storyteller, ex freediving champion, Britannia Trophy award winner, Guinness world record holder and UN ambassador to the Convention on migratory birds.
She is the founder and CEO of ‘Conservation Without Borders’ with supporters Sir David Attenborough and patrons Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Dame Judi Dench.
Sacha will be talking about her expeditions, showing clips from her film with a Q&A and an invitation for participants to become patrons/supporters of CWB.
