About this event
Come and enjoy contemporary art created in the heart of Cornwall – surrounded by ancient woods and Celtic sites.
Ant’s recent work is created on handmade paper using Japanese watercolour or raw pigments bound with gum arabic. As well as individual paintings and drawings, Ant makes artist’s books and creates large series of works which are designed to hang together in gallery spaces.
Ant often mixes words and images and some of his works include haiku, giving added context to his visual language.
Merther Uny is an historic hamlet about two miles from Constantine. The studio is signed from the A394 at Trevenen, however, it’s hidden away down very narrow lanes so do follow satnav and drive carefully. There are three parking spaces on site. Or better still come by bicycle or on foot to really explore the woods and bridleways!
Accessibility
Details
Both the studio and the barn have two steps up to the entrance so please be aware that this limits disabled access.
Directions
From Helston, take the A394 towards Falmouth. At Trevenen take the Gweek turning on the right immediately after A1 Cars. Follow the road until you see a white house immediately ahead of you. Turn left here and follow studio signs or use SatNav.
