I’m showing a series of vibrant watercolours, plus a selection of other two and three dimensional works on paper, canvas and board.

Mysterious and peaceful, Merther Uny is a tiny secluded hamlet between Constantine and Wendron.

For Open Studios 2024 I’m showing a new group of vibrant watercolours on cotton rag paper. As well as welcoming visitors into my studio, I’m exhibiting a selection of my work in an adjacent granite barn.

My practice explores the experience of transience in the natural world. My work is a celebration of the ephemeral beauty of all passing things as well as my enduring fascination with Cornwall, its art, history and ancient culture.

Both the studio and the barn gallery have two steps up to the entrance so please be aware this limits disabled access.

Directions

From Helston: take the A394, at Trevenen, take the Gweek turning on the right immediately after A1 Cars. Follow the road until you see a white cottage immediately ahead of you. Turn left here and follow the Open Studios signs or use SatNav TR13 0NU
