About this event
St Ives School of Painting run art workshops for local teenagers aged 13 to 16. They are once a month on a Sunday in our art studios overlooking the beach.
These workshops give young people the experience of being young artists: – they get to work on easels, use the same high-quality materials as those on our adult courses, and are taught by experienced artist tutors in a working art studio.
The project is called Porthmeor Art Collective and it is a brilliant way of injecting some creativity into their lives and meeting like-minded young people. The sessions are £10 but we can offer limited FREE Scholarship places for those on low income. Please contact Cat Lee Youth Arts Manager for a Scholarship application form to apply: [email protected]

Project takes place on the ground floor and is accessible. To access a toilet we have a lift. Room has good ventilation and natural light.
