Batik Art Workshop

Join Artist, Belinda Latimer for a 3 hour session to design and create your own Batik Textile Art.

Join me Artist, Belinda Latimer, for 3 hours to create beautiful a Batik Textiles piece that can be framed to adorn your home.

These sessions are for you if you would like to try out a new creative skill, would like to have some time just for you and would like to relax.

Suitable for beginners or those fancying another go, aged 18+

The 3 hours will be spent creating simple designs on paper, then moving these into wax on paper where we will then add a range of colours. Time to experiment and try out lots of different ideas and techniques.
Finally, we will put all of our learning onto fabric!

Drawing with the hot wax is so mesmeric and relaxing that you can’t help becoming immersed in the joy of it all! Batik inks will then be used to create lovely layers of colour.

Payment is £36 per person, including all tuition and materials.
The sessions will be Covid – safe, with equipment and surfaces being wiped down between sessions.
Numbers are limited to 6 participants per session.
