CAST-Away
This year, CAST has also extended the programme out onto the Lizard peninsula with CAST-Away sessions taking place on Wednesdays from 3 to 24 August. The CAST team will be in different places around the Lizard to lead creative activities and provide a chance to come together in the special places where we live. Our team will be joined by special guest artists and musicians to inspire invention and making, movement and play.

What is CAST?
CAST is a not-for-profit arts organisation. It is based in a large former school building in the centre of Helston, with entrances on Penrose Road and from the car park in Wendron Street. The building now provides studio spaces for twenty artists. It also has a Café serving delicious locally sourced food, a special black box screening space, where artists’ films are shown, learning spaces that host free workshops for families and programmes for schools, and a new ceramics studio.
