About this event

Show Gardens, a Growing the Future marquee and botanical art from the Eden Project’s Florilegium Society are just some of the new features of the Cornwall Garden Society’s 2020 Spring Flower Show at The Royal Cornwall Showground near Wadebridge on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April 2020.
Described by The Telegraph as the ‘… Chelsea of the West’, this popular event, sponsored by Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management, celebrates Cornwall’s early spring on an unprecedented scale.
As well as dazzling displays of daffodils, magnolias, camellias and rhododendrons in the Competitive Classes; floral art and photography exhibits; 130 specialist nurseries and traders in the Plant Pavilion and Horticultural Heaven; an Artisan Area for arts and crafts; and talks, demonstrations and a Gardeners’ Q&A, this year’s particular focus will be on protecting and enhancing our natural environment.
The Growing the Future marquee will help us make climate-conscious choices when planning, planting and maintaining our outdoor spaces, and inspire children to learn about nature and environmentally-friendly gardening.
Show Gardens from The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Duchy College Rosewarne, The Eden Project, Sid Hill, Gardens of Eden UK, gARTen and Bosence Community Farm will address sustainability, re-wilding and edible landscaping.
Whether you have a window box, a flower border or a country estate, the Show provides a perfect day out for all the family.
Tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the gate. To book, visit http://cornwallgardensociety.org.uk/spring-flower-show or call Bradsons on 01749 813899. Under 16s are free. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
