About this event
99p Films is partnering with Kernow Transformed to bring you an inspiring evening, celebrating the life of the late Sci-fi author Ursula K. Le Guin showcasing the documentary ‘Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin’
Our signature screening style begins with a short mindful breathing exercise connecting us together and allowing us to be present in the moment.
We’ll have intervals for open and social discussions around the themes of feminism, colonialism and nature.
A vegan feast is included in the price allowing these conversations to continue around the table all whilst supporting our local farmers who grow in sustainable ways and nourish our bodies and minds.
We’ll be concluding with a LIVE Q&A with the director of the documentary, Arwen Curry.
This is unlike any Cinema experience you may be used to and is all about bringing us together through the power of documentary cinema, creating ‘Reel Action’.
We look forward to breathing, watching, discussing and eating with you all!
