CONNECTING ON THE COURT!
Join us on the Killacourt on 21st May for "Connecting on the Court" - a gathering of organisations in Newquay to connect, showcase and celebrate the town.

DO YOU LIVE IN NEWQUAY?
You (the public!) are warmly invited to come to the Killacourt and browse stalls and stands, find out more about the organisations showcasing, soak up the celebration atmosphere and catch the performances and demos from the Bandstand.

DO YOU RUN AN ORGANISATION BASED IN/WORKING IN NEWQUAY?
You are warmly invited to take part. It’s a perfect opportunity to:

(1) showcase what you do to, raise awareness, reach out and connect, recruit and engage
(2) take advantage of an opportunity for in-person connections with people from other organisations to find ways to collaborate and cross-promote
(3) celebrate Newquay by building civic pride and a sense of community

This inaugural event is brought to you by Newquay Connections – a fledgling consortium of organisations in Newquay who are passionate about increasing collaboration for the benefit of the town.
How might your organisation feature in the event?

> having a PRESENCE – this might be a stall/stand… We’re really encouraging organisations to think creatively about how you might attract and maintain interest beyond signage and literature (those these are welcome!) You might consider offering a service or a game or competition to generate a buzz.
> having a DEMO/PERFORMANCE on the Bandstand. We are hoping to curate a programme of ‘mini-main-stage’ slots that show the variety of what the organisations involved have to offer. We cannot guarantee a slot but do let us know if there is something you think would have wide appeal and maintain the interest of a crowd.
