About this event
Dramatic displays of spring flowers and shrubs, and exquisite exhibits by leading nurseries and floral artists are just some of the highlights of the Cornwall Garden Society’s 2023 Spring Flower Show.
Sponsored by Cornish Lithium, Goonvean Holdings and the Cornwall Community Foundation, this celebration of spring takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday, 2nd at The Royal Cornwall Showground.
Described by The Telegraph as “the most highly regarded spring show in the country” and by Gardens Illustrated as “one of the best flower and garden shows,” this popular two-day event for all the family features Cornwall’s finest daffodils, magnolias, camellias and rhododendrons in the Competitive Classes, as well as 80 specialist nurseries, master growers and garden traders who will offer a slice of horticultural heaven from prize-winning plants to secateurs and seeds.
Gardeners’ Questions, talks and demonstrations, and panel discussions on Gardens, Food and Planet and The Call of the Wild will educate and entertain. An artisan area will showcase contemporary Cornish crafts and Big Pan Parties will offer locally-sourced gourmet food to go and other edible delights across the Showground. Discounted CGS memberships will also be available to purchase.
Well-behaved woofs on leads welcome.
