About this event

FREE creative writing workshop for 18-35s.

Join author Sam Horton for a fortnightly writing evening. One week will be a structured workshop with prompts, then the next will be an evening of working on your own projects with assistance if needed. Bring work from home, or read things written in an earlier workshop for a chance to get feedback on your work in a safe, supportive space. Stuck on an idea or story point? In need of the perfect word? Let the group help! Writing can be a lonely business, come and create with us.

Sam was shortlisted for the Bridport flash fiction prize in 2020, Highly Commended for the Hammond House International Short Story Prize in whose anthology he was published. He will be amongst the authors in the upcoming Cornish Modern Poetries anthology and his first novel led to agency representation earlier this year.
