About this event
I moved to Cornwall in October and have used this change as the impetus for reinvigorating my practice. I’ve taken stock of what I’ve been doing over the last twenty years and pushed my painting in a new direction. Perversely, the subject matter for this new work is the landscape where I lived previously in Essex. Prior to this I had been painting very controlled, graphic images of piles of rubbish and the stain spattered pavements nearby. The studio is upstairs but I will have paintings on display downstairs as well.
Directions
At the corner of Bay View Terrace and Harbour View you will see a small wooded cut with victorian houses on the left. The venue is the third house along this cut.
