About this event
Two characters find themselves boxed in, drawn out, a little lost and confused. Elbow Room investigates the theme of mental wellbeing and isolation but with a light touch; by using play, humour, song and movement.
This performance was formed and inspired by interviews with young adults in the Cornish community; their words, stories and thoughts were integrated into the movement, text & aesthetics of the show. Elbow Room explores friendship, isolation, conflict & acceptance.
A Thing or Two Theatre was founded by Florence Cashel, Hannah Reichwald and Holly Lovelock. ATOT creates cross-disciplinary and socially informed theatre that aims to kickstart conversation. Elbow Room is in collaboration with charity Cornwall Mind and is supported by Arts Council England, FEAST, Cornwall Council and Cultivator.
