About this event

Two characters find themselves boxed in, drawn-out, a little bit lost and confused.

Elbow Room investigates the theme of mental wellbeing and isolation but with a light touch; by using play, humour, song and movement.

This preview performance was formed and inspired by interviews with young adults in the Cornish community; their words, stories and thoughts were integrated into the movement, text and aesthetics of the show. Elbow Room explores friendship, conflict, change and self-acceptance.

Elbow Room is in collaboration with charity Cornwall Mind and is supported by Arts Council England, FEAST, Cornwall Council and Cultivator.
