About this event
March 9th | Anne Sebba | Artistic and Cultural Representations of Ethel Rosenberg and the Making of an American Icon
In 1951, aged 37, the American Government found Ethel Rosenberg guilty of being a spy. Despite no conclusive evidence, she was electrocuted; it was all to make her husband talk. Subsequently, through numerous creative mediums she became an American icon of the catastrophic failure of justice.
