The Good Afternoon Choir founder, Grenville Jones, lives in Bath and enjoys a world-wide reputation as a choir leader and musician. On Sunday August 20, Grenville has been invited to lead a FUN singing workshop at Kenwyn Church in Truro.
Grenville said; “If you have always wondered what it is like to sing in a choir then come to Kenwyn Church and ‘Find Your Voice!’ We will have a fun time together and after a workshop, lasting around two hours, we will then perform at an informal concert.”
Grenville Jones is acknowledged across the world for his work with choirs and has led workshops across Europe, Canada and New Zealand. He lives in Bath and has appeared on TV and Radio many times talking about his love of singing and ENCOURAGING everyone to FIND THEIR VOICE! He’s founder of the 25 Good Afternoon Choirs across the West (including Truro, Falmouth and Newquay), the celebrated City of Bath Male Choir from the BBC Last Choir Standing series and The Welcome Chorus.
He has worked with many celebrity names, including Katherine Jenkins, Aled Jones, Russell Watson and Jamie Cullum. He is also the founder of the Golden-Oldies Charity, NOT choir singing but with over 100 daytime fun singalong sessions across England and Wales. Sir Cliff Richard is the “Goldies” Patron. He’s also written a novel called Deep Harmony, based on the lives and loves of a choir based in Cornwall!

Before your afternoon of singing, you might like to enjoy a Light Lunch (from 12.00) at Epiphany House, just down the road from the church. They will also be serving Cream Teas until 5.00pm so you or your guests might enjoy that too. Indoor seating available should the weather be unfavourable. Booking is essential!
